Whilst K9Turf is renowned for it’s low maintenance and 100% pet friendly specification, it’s important to keep up to the minimal maintenance required to ensure your lawn stays fresh and clean for all of your (furry) family and friends to enjoy year-round! K9Turf’s specialist quadrobind woven backing works hand in hand with K9 Bio-enzyme cleaner and K9 Zeolite Infill to actively combat the build up of pet waste on your turf!
Remember: Artificial grass is LOW maintenance, not NO maintenance.
Failing to adhere to the necessary maintenance for your turf could result in your warranty being void, so if you’re unsure of what to do or when to do it – read on for all the information you need!
How Often Should I Clean My Lawn?
The more often your dogs use the lawn the more often it will need cleaning.
These guidelines are based on the dogs using the lawn twice daily.
Remember: Prevention is easier than resetting the lawn.
If your dogs use the lawn as a toilet and the required maintenance is not adhered to, this will result in your lawn beginning to smell. Especially in warmer weather. If this is not remedied, the only solution is a full reset of the installation.
This can be costly. Take the time now to save yourself money later!

Is It Safe For Pets To Play After Cleaning?
Our mission with K9 artificial grass is to ensure all pet users can safely enjoy their lawn year round! Our K9 Turf Enzyme Cleaner has been specifically designed to be completely safe for all pets and children too. There are no harmful chemicals that could tarnish your pet’s skin or paws! Nor any harmful fragrances used as these can have an adverse effect on your animal’s sense of smell! Our enzyme cleaner is made with a subtle fragrance that still leaves your lawn smelling fresh and clean.

Warranty & Guarantee
To ensure your turf is professionally maintained and has the standard of care of that K9 Turf requires, we provide a bi-annual service plan. This can guarantee your turf for up to 18 years enables our team to fully service your lawn, check infill levels and diagnose any issues before they become irreparable. If you’d like to find out more, get in touch and we’ll be happy to help. Do not apply cheap cleaning products other than the recommended K9 Cleaners. We advise for all of our customers to take out our bi-annual service plan to reduce the build up of ammonia and harmful bacteria’s. This can vary on the number of dogs, the usage, and the square meterage of grass installed. Any ammonia smells incurred from lack of maintenance is not covered in our 15-year installation warranty. Manufacturer/installation defects are still covered in the 15-year installation warranty.
